Embrace the Summer with the Upcoming Zenless Zone Zero 2.1 Update "The Impending Crash of Waves"

After an exciting year for proxies, Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.1, "The Impending Crash of Waves," will be available to play on July 16th. The summer-themed update introduces Season 2 Chapter 2, featuring a refreshing blast of new regions, characters, and activities. It highlights the Spook Shack faction and introduces two new regions: Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort. See the trailer below:

In Version 2.1, Proxies can enjoy a summer exploration. Revive Fantasy Resort to its former glory by working with the Spook Shack to compete in aquatic activities and attractions. Feel the rush of the waves with some thrilling obstacle-avoiding surfing, enjoy the wind in your hair while embarking on sea-shooting challenges, and feel fresh with new beach themed outfits for Yuzuha, Alice, and the Proxies.

Investigate Sailume Bay, a small area nestled beneath the looming cliffs of Failume Heights. Proxies must resolve conflicts stemming from the chaos caused by the Exaltists and participate in "En-Nah" Chess Legend, the new Bangboo Auto Battler that introduces a new PVP mode and scoring system.

New fishing spots await, with new species to discover and optimized mechanics to enjoy, so there's less grinding and a more relaxed gameplay. Bask in the vibrant holiday atmosphere, sandy beaches, and the swaying coconut trees, perfect for summer fun and mysterious stories.

Two remarkable S-rank characters from the Spook Shack will also join the game. Meet Alice Thymefield, descendant of the esteemed Thymefield family, who uses her elegant swordsmanship techniques to maneuver the battlefield and accumulate Blade Etiquette. By consuming Blade Etiquette, Alice can unleash powerful strikes, amplifying Assault and Disorder damage.

Ukinami Yuzuha, another S-rank character addition, is a Physical Support Agent who uses her Tanuki companion Kama to throw candy bombs at enemies, assisting on-field attackers to accumulate Anomaly Buildup more efficiently. Her signature Sweet Scare ability adapts to the active agent's attribute via Flavor Match, significantly boosting the Anomaly Buildup efficiency while simultaneously triggering Aftershock attacks.

One also cannot forget Miss Esme, a new graceful S-rank Bangboo who soars along the agents while generating beneficial effects that replenish Energy or HP.
