Kaiju No. 8 Game Surpasses 500,000 Pre-Registrations, Unveils Gen's Character Trailer

KAIJU No. 8 THE GAME has officially surpassed 500,000 pre-registrations, unlocking the "Aiming for Greater Heights" Mina Ashiro 4-star character as a reward for players at launch. The next milestone is 850,000 pre-registrations, and if this goal is reached, players can expect another 4-star character, the "Blade Specialist" Soshiro Hoshina.

The upcoming Kaiju No. 8 game also revealed a trailer for Gen Narumi, as well as his gacha illustration. Koki Uchiyama voices the character.

Akatsuki Games Inc. is developing the game that will feature gacha mechanics. It is expanding on the world of the original manga and its anime adaptation. Players will be able to discover exclusive original narratives and explore untold stories of their favorite characters. Each character will have specific skills that the players will be able to use to defeat kaiju by striking their core. The game will also feature an original character named Sagan Shinomiya. The Kaiju No. 8 game will be available on smartphones and PC.

Kaiju No. 8 manga was serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service until July 17. The title has surpassed 18 million copies printed and distributed in Japan (including digital editions) across 15 volumes. The anime adaptation, which has gained popularity worldwide, recently began its second season with new episodes on Crunchyroll. B
