Kaiju No. 8: The Game Kicks Off 2026 With a New Character and Story
Kaiju No.8 THE GAME has kicked off the New Year with a brand new original character, Wang Meixing, who stars in the newly released main story chapter. To celebrate Chapter 7's release, the game is offering a New Chapter Event as well as a Login Bonus, plus plenty of new banners to pull on.
From January 1st (UTC+9), players will receive daily in-game rewards of an 8-free-pull gacha ticket (up to a maximum of ten). Furthermore, you can earn other useful items such as Dimensional Crystals, Gacha Tickets, Stamina Jellies, and more!
Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME has also announced its first character rerun, featuring Reno Ichikawa and [Limited] Sagan Shinomiya on the Paid-Only 5-star Guaranteed Gacha banner.

The new Main Story Chapter 7 starts in Dubai, currently experiencing a sudden snowstorm alongside the emergence of a "Dimensional Gate." In response, Kafka Hibino and Kikoru Shinomiya, as well as Fourth Division members Reno Ichikawa and Iharu Furuhashi, come rushing to the scene.
The Kaiju in question is Kaiju No.6, the "King of Kaiju" that once brought about a devastating catastrophe upon this world—and killed Shinomiya's mother. But not everyone has such negative feelings about the King of Kaiju: For Reno Ichikawa, this Kaiju forms the core of his unique Numbers weapon. During Chapter 7, you will be introduced to CLOZER's negotiator, the new original character Wang Meixing.

Her negotiation skills are not to be underestimated; she boasts the ability to "settle anything with a single phone call." Behind this exceptional skill lies numerous efforts behind the scenes, such as maintaining a stance that respects mutual benefit, as well as the ability to instantly lighten the atmosphere at the negotiation table.
On Wang Meixing's Pickup Gacha, you can also obtain her 5-star weapon, the AR-Gnijiluh (Assault Rifle).
Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME is also hosting a Paid-Only 5-star Guaranteed Gacha to celebrate the New Year! This gives players at least one guaranteed 5-star character from the pool of both Standard characters and weapons, and previous Pickup-exclusive banners.
