Yurinan Reveals Collaboration with Hatsune Miku

A new collaboration has been announced between Hatsune Miku and the famous dorayaki shop, YURINAN. The collaboration officially began on July 18 in all YURINAN locations in Harajuku and Kamakura; exclusive merchandise became available through the YURINAN online store. This collaboration is planned to be a long-term event, with the expectation that it will run for about a year.

YURINAN is a famous and popular sweet shop located all around Harajuku and Kamakura, and is known for its modern take on dorayaki. Dorayaki is a classic Japanese sweet that is made from two small pancakes sandwiched together with different fillings in the centre.

Yurinan Reveals Collaboration with Hatsune Miku

The collaboration will feature a variety of food and drink items alongside merchandise with new character illustrations. To make each dorayaki sandwich unique, they will be stamped with a print that features one of the six VOCALOID characters involved.

Another surprise included in this collaboration is two exclusive flavors. These flavors are: 'Choco Chip Mint DORA', which is a cream-filled dorayaki colored in Miku's signature blue; and 'MATCHA strawberry DORA', which is a combination of green tea and strawberry. Each new dorayaki is priced at 800 yen (est. $6) and comes with one of six possible random acrylic charms as a gift.

The menu items are as follows:

Kiwi Soda Float: 800 yen (est.$6) - comes with a random acrylic charm of the available characters.

Dorayaki Pancakes (One Pair): 340 yen (est.$3) - Fans who purchase three sets of these plain can receive a random acrylic charm of the six available characters.

Stamps of different characters that are available

Hatsune Miku Mini Dora (box of 3, chocolate flavour): 1,000 yen (est.$7) - if customers purchase this item, they will receive one original sticker.
